my manifesto

Inspired, influenced, excited, fulfilling Modernism is no longer the new age manifesto for the design world but seminal in my design world. Based upon cleanliness, objectively, readability and typography.
            ‘My manifesto is to create designs with such impressions; simple and rational, tightly structured and serious, clear and objective, and harmonious. Then the aesthetics and concept will reflect the seriousness of its design purpose’

after sending out the email  i have managed to hear back from a few of the design studio that i was interedting i hearing from or meeting there team i perrson here is ssome of the answers they gave:

a funny quote that is so true lol

“Wouldn't it be interesting if there were only one typeface in the world? Designers would really have to think about the idea behind their designs instead of covering ir up with fancy typefaces. One, universal typeface would really strip away all the flashy emptiness in design. And, of course, that one typeface would have to be Helvetica.”

comments from people in the FdA studio we were using

I am intrigued by what you arr doing

mmmmm the International Style is very is formulated by rules;

The use of the Grid System,
San Serif Typefaces,
Black and white photography taking place of computer imagery.
It all has a very structured and uniform look to it, also many variations have coloured shapes introduced.
I really like the style of working you ar edoing as its quite simplistic and clean but effective and it doesn't give a lot of maneuverability or flexibility for error and major mistakes until the work they were doing.

The public is more familiar with bad design than good design. It is, in effect, conditioned to prefer bad design, because that is what it lives with. The new becomes threatening, the old reassuring. Paul Rand (Design, Form, and Chaos)
